RELEASING THE ANOINTING IN YOU

33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. 
34 He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him | Luke 10:33–34

What is the anointing?
1. The anointing is the overflow of Christ in your life!
2. It is the outflow of our relationship with God!
3. It is the impact of our openness and willingness of submission to the expression of God in us and through us.
The anointing in us helps us express God to the world. It will help us do to mankind what God should have done if present. Hence the anointing helps us to represent God and display Him unto men. As we do it, we bring glory to Him.

From our text we see some keys to expressing the anointing:

A. THE POWER OF COMPASSION
"... and when he saw him, he had compassion..." It has been confirmed that people with compassionate heart are easy vessels for God.
Compassion is a display of a broken heart, and God does not over look such a person (Ps. 51:17).  
Compassion is tenderheartedness. This is a trait of our Lord (Ps. 111:4). Expressing compassion expresses God in us for people to see. Compassion brought the Samaritan down from his horse to reach out to the injured man.
It brings us to the level of others whereby we can impact them with God in us.
Compassion does not just express our humaneness it expresses God in us for others to see. Stony heartedness and "i don't care" attitude is a barrrier to the flow of God through us.
Compassion opens our spirit to the out flow of the power of God locked up in us.
PRINCIPLE 1: Explode in compassion and you will see the explosion of the power and might of God.

B. THE POWER OF RESPONSE
"But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him..."
When you see challenges in people what do you do, what is your response? This man went to the problem. The proof of the anointing in you are in the problems you are willing to confront. David was anointed and he didnt waste it, he stood to confront Goliath and he became relevant to his nation, his generation. The anointing is not to be stored but to be used to bless nations, lives and families.
PRINCIPLE 2: Response determines result. If you respond unbehave of God, His hand will be released to provide His kind of result.

3. EMPTY INTO OTHERS
"...bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine..." He poured two things on the injured man.
i. He poured the oil: This signifies the anointing
ii. He poured the wine: which is a type of the Holy Spirit.
If you can pour the anointing of the Holy Spirit in you upon men, their injured lives will find healing.
PRINCIPLE 3: A person that pours out the anointing of the Holy Spirit into lives never runs short of the anointing because God does not diminishe. He is an unending fountain
Today something has to leave you and touch others.
Acts 10:38 (NIV)
"how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him."
I pray for you, grace is given to you to release what you carry for the world to feel in Jesus Name
